Screen Layout

As the story progresses, you'll receive more quests and be able to explore new dungeons and towns. Make your way to the innermost levels and leave no stone unturned!
  1. Character

    Shows the character being controlled.

  2. Level

    Shows your current character's level (Lv).

  3. Life Gauge

    Shows your current and maximum Life points.

  4. Vigor

    Used for Life recovery. Grayed out icon indicates that it cannot be used until a set period of time passes.

  5. Block

    Block status. Grayed out icon indicates that it cannot be used until a set period of time passes.

  6. Current Quest

    Title of the quest currently in progress.

  7. Mini-Map

    Map showing the current stage.

  8. Quest Targets

    Shows current objectives within a given quest.

  9. Spell Card

    Spell Card currently set. Grayed out icon indicates that it cannot be used until a set period of time passes.

  10. Skills

    Skills currently set. Grayed out icon indicates that it cannot be used until a set period of time passes.

  11. Combo and Attack Bonus

    Shows current hit combo and resulting attack bonus.

World Map

The world map shows an overhead view of Gensokyo. Use it to travel between areas, accept quests, and visit shops.

Main Menu

Press the options button to bring up the main menu. From there you can equip items, set skills, review tutorials, adjust sound settings, and more.
Equip Equip weapons, armor, and accessories.
Skill Assign skills and spell cards to different buttons.
System Review tutorials, sound settings, and copyright information. You can also return to the title screen, or exit a stage and return to the world map.
